How Many Classes do you Have?
    Quick Hints
  • Use Short Class names for best printing size
  • You can include work schedules increasing the number of classes. ex: you work MWF 12-2, T 5-8. This would only be two classes, not four.
  • Classes with labs and recitations are the same way. If you have Chemistry MWF 10-11, lab T 12-1, this is two seperate classes.
  • Read the Printing Instructions (below) on how to print WITH COLOR backgrounds
  • Be sure to save your schedule so you can retrieve it later (or send to your friends)

example schedule*** About This Contraption! ***
What it is:You input your class names and times and days, it outputs a weekly colored block schedule.

How to Print To print your schedule with IE, go to Tools -> Internet Options. Under the 'Advanced' Tab, find where there is the heading 'Printing', then make sure the check box is checked that says 'Print Background Colors and Images'.

To Print with Mozilla / Firefox, just go to File -> Page Setup... and check the box that says 'Print Background (Colors & Images). Other browsers are similar in setup.

A few things I need to fix
  • Enable it to change the colors for the margin bars
  • Ability to Edit a previously made schedule (hmm...)
  • Make it more colorful (the interface)
  • Make the help file, and such
  • Fix the times so it doesn't go Negative
  • Enable you to use midnight in the morning as well as at night
  • Clean up the code a bit, then make it available to view
  • Add support for 15 minute increments, not just 30 (I dont want to hear bitching about this,
  • Add support for empty passwords (simple, i dont have time right now).
  • Add the ability to change the colors to your own custom hex colors! I did it this way for simplicity purposes and printing purposes! ;-)
Suggested Use: Use it for your classes, work, etc. I'd really like to know if theres anything else I can add to this, because this appears to be the first thing I've made which has a practical purpose...
You can also save your schedule. The URL itself can be used to retrieve your schedule, but it is usually over 1000 characters long. Therefor, I have enabled you to save your schedule on the server. This actually only does a redirect, but its very simple and easy.

Thanks for using Mr. Scheduler!
